For our Software Engineering course at IIITV, a team of 6 members(Anil, Madhukar, Megana, Tanmay, Vikesh and me) was formed to create a project of our own choice. The project idea is best obtained when you hold brainstorming sessions where raw ideas emerge and if all the team members agree, we go on solidifying the idea until it complete. So, we did the same and after many ideas, we finally decided to do something about waste management and after some discussion, the idea was formulated. The main idea of our project is to promote the recycling of Solid waste and to increase the sales of recycled goods produced by the recycling industries. The stakeholders in our project are the people in general who sell solid wastes to scrap dealers, the scrap dealers, recycling industries, manufacturers of recycled products. After figuring out the App Idea, We need to have an In-Depth understanding of our requirements for the project and this can be done best via surveying the various stakeholders associated with the project. The various stakeholders associated with our project were: The Customers, who sold the scrap and bought the recycled goods from our recycled products selling website. The scrap dealers, who would help us in collection of the scraps from the customers, and The Industries, which would accept our segregated scrap and would put up their recycled products for sale on our website. For the first stakeholder, we circulated Google Forms to all our contacts via the social networks and asked them to fill the form and also to share them with their associates.
